If I hadn’t left my apartment this morning, I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the numbingly cold weather. That’s not a sarcastic comment, either. I legitimately enjoyed going outside, seeing the sunshine, and not being able to feel my fingers. For a while, it even snowed.
If I hadn’t left my apartment this morning, I wouldn’t have gone to work. I thought long and hard about calling off work today. Thursday shifts are my least favorite. A day before break, the last thing I wanted to do was to go bake pizzas and get angry because of my coworkers. Surprisingly, both of them were in great moods, and didn’t take their life problems out on me. I was productive, I chatted with all of my managers and told them to have a lovely break, and I left in a wonderful mood.
If I hadn’t left my apartment this morning, I wouldn’t have been able to invite one of my friends to our Thanksgiving dinner tonight. Really, she invited herself, kiddingly. I for-real invited her though, and I’m glad she came. Life is better with good friends.
If I hadn’t left my apartment today, I wouldn’t have had such a great one.
