Places to see before I’m 25:
- Seneca Falls, N.Y. With the recent passing of the holidays, Jimmy Stewart is on my mind more than usual. Seneca Falls is the supposed town
that Bedford Falls, of Frank Capra’s “It’s a Wonderful Life,” is based off of. This website, http://www.therealbedfordfalls.com/therealbedfordfalls.php, states the reasons why it may be the inspiration for Bedford Falls.
- Seattle. For some reason I’ve always had a fascination with this town. I think because of the movie “Life or Something Like It.” I saw that when I was young, and from then on I knew it was a city I needed to see.
- Portland, Oregon. Hipsters, hipsters everywhere. I’m not a hipster, but it seems like a pretty cool city.
India. Preferably during Diwali, the Festival of Lights. I know, I’ve mentioned it a thousand times. My love for Indian culture continues to grow by the day, and I can’t wait to visit.
- New York City on New Years Eve. I’ve been to NYC more times than I can count, but never for the annual festivities that occur on New Years Eve. I don’t know if it even looks like fun to me, being squished in Times Square with thousands of people. But I need to say that I’ve done it, at least.
