Baseball makes life better.

Even if you don’t root for a particular team, baseball is hands down the best sport to go watch.

There’s something about being at a ball game, the ambiance of being at a field, that makes everything okay.

Baseball fans are a group of their own– they appreciate the simple things in life, like how much fun it is to sing Sweet Caroline at a Sox game, the deliciousness of a hot dog shot out of a cannon and the sense of happiness that comes from watching your team score a run.

My love for baseball began young, going to Binghamton Mets games with my sister and her family, and continued as a grew in to a Red Sox fan…which she also took me to. Now, I can go see any team play a game and be content.

My first, and my niece and nephew’s first, trip to Fenway.

Even if you’re not a sports fan, go to a game, whether it be the minors or majors. You’re bound to have fun!
