Crockpot Cookin’

I’ve taken on the challenge of trying some new recipes…and for me that definitely is a challenge–I’m a frozen chicken nugget and quick-foods type of girl.

This evening I tried a recipe that I actually ate last night at a friend’s house. I knew I liked it, but I wanted to tweak a few things. What I used for it is:

One pack cheese tortellinicrocl
1 cup cream cheese, cut in to cubes
One package of fresh spinach
One can of diced tomato
One tablespoon minced garlic
A little bit of Italian seasoning

Throw all of this in the crock pot on low for about four hours, or until the tortellini is cooked, and tada! A delicious, easy pasta dish.
