This past Sunday I headed to the cute little town of Smicksburg, Pa., for their annual Apple Fest. Despite there not being a single apple, it was a lot of fun.
I went with my friend Lauren and her parents, who I rarely see. It was nice to catch up.
Smicksburg is a wonderful place. I’ve said many times before that if I were to ever just want to become an author, I would move to a town like Smicksburg for some peace and quiet. The town has about 10 adorable businesses–a pottery house, a small winery and other niche, unique stores.
