If you’re anything like me, the best word to describe your life is busy.
Wake up, walk the dog, go to work, attend 70,000 meetings, go to the gym, cook dinner, start work for job number two, sleep, repeat.
No matter what your daily schedule is like, whether it’s juggling the kids’ practices and schoolwork, trying to maintain a social life or just trying to make it through the work day, there’s one thing you need to remember to do:
Sometimes I forget to just do nothing, and it’s those weeks that I find myself most stressed out, snapping at others and feeling down. The days that I finally take a minute to relax–watch a movie, take a nap, read a book–I realize that it’s the best thing I could have done, and see the effects that relaxing for just a few hours has on my overall well-being.
Do you remember to take time to relax?
