Life-changing Chili: A recipe

I don’t ever post recipes. Why? Because I don’t cook.

I hate everything about cooking, actually. The prep. Touching raw meat. The actual cooking part. Most of all, I hate the ridiculous amount of dishes afterwards.

But this week, I started a new, gluten-free lifestyle. And that means I can’t run downtown and grab a sandwich whenever I don’t feel like cooking. So today I made, in bulk, the most delicious, game-changing chili.

Here’s my recipe (it’s so easy, even I can do it!):

  • 1 packet, Chili Seasoning Mix, Mild – 30% Less Sodium
  • 1 container (3 1/2 cups ea.), Italian Diced Tomatoes With Basil, Garlic & Oregano
  • 1 container (1.8 cups ea.), Dark Kidney Beans Premium
  • 1 lb(s), Ground Beef 85% Lean (or use turkey)
  • 1 tsp minced garlic

Brown the beef in a skillet. Add it to the rest of the ingredients. Simmer for 15 minutes. Ta-dah! It’s done.

I topped it with some colby jack cheese.

This recipe serves four, with 388 calories per serving.
